Wireless Field Network Services

Wireless Field Networks do not typically require a site survey. However, POND Technical and Emerson can help you to plan your wireless network and to get your network up and running quickly, so that you can get the most out of your wireless investment.

SmartStart Services

SmartStart Services are designed to help you with your first startup, including a full network health assessment to ensure robust communications plus verification of device functionality through your chosen output (Modbus, TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc.). SmartStart Services include the start-up and commissioning of wireless industrial process control systems, technical support services, troubleshooting services and software installation.

AMS Wireless SNAP-ON will be used to design and layout the wireless devices and the network. Once the layout of the network is complete, our factory trained technicians will assist in the configuration, calibration, and commissioning of the instruments. They will guarantee that all transmitters are communicating properly with the Smart Wireless Gateway on a consistent basis. The Smart Wireless Gateway will be completely set up with the right information for seamless integration with your host system.

When you order SmartStart wireless start-up services with your wireless products, you are guaranteed a painless start-up, and a completely functioning network out of the box!

Gateway Integration Services

POND Technical can provide integration services to assist you with integrating the Smart Wireless Gateway with your non-Emerson process automation system or data historian via Modbus or OPC. Please contact your Account Manager to setup a conversation with a POND Technical Control Systems Engineer to discuss your requirements.
