Z-Gard Series Sensors and Controllers for CO & NO2 Monitoring
![]() For general industry and HVAC applications, Z-Gard C Controllers simply get the job done. The controllers connect with a wide array of MSA Z-Gard S Sensors, with controller models accepting up to eight sensors. Relay outputs indicate warning levels and alarms for sensors, while a large LED readout displays the active channel and corresponding sensor gas level. |
![]() The robust Z-Gard CXII Controller connects with a wide array of MSA Z-Gard Sensors, accepting up to 99 sensors. A large backlit LCD screen displays operating, alarm and fault diagnostic system status. Modbus RTU or BacNet MS/TP digital protocols are available for integration with building automation systems. |
![]() For wide-ranging gas-monitoring needs, the economical Z-Gard C 485 Controllers are up to the task. The controllers connect with a wide array of MSA Z-Gard S Sensors, with controller models accepting up to 24 sensors. Relay outputs indicate warning, alarm or sensor fail for each zone, and units are available with one or two zones. A large LED readout displays the active channel and the corresponding sensor gas level.

![]() The Z-Gard S Sensor is designed to detect the presence of carbon monoxide, nitrogen dioxide and combustible gases in air. These sensors employ solid state, electrochemical or catalytic sensors which generate a representative output signal proportional to the calibrated operating range. All Z-Gard S Sensors are available with 2 output versions, a 4-20mA analog output, or an addressable RS-485 digital signal. Z Gard Sensors with RS-485 digital output are specifically designed to operate as a system with any Z-Gard CXII or C 485 Controller.

![]() A cost-efficient monitor for underground garages and ventilation control, the Z-Gard COmbo Gas Monitor uses a solid-state sensor to detect carbon monoxide. The unit features local audio/visual alarm status indicators and it can be configured to interface with air-handling equipment to control air quality within a building. Additional remote sensors can be attached to the unit via the RS-485 network port, while a 4-20mA output is proportional to the calibrated operating range. |
![]() The Z-Gard DS Sensor is designed to detect the presence of carbon monoxide and nitrogen dioxide gases in parking garages, vehicle storage areas or wherever else these two toxic gases could be found. These sensors employ electrochemical sensors which generate a representative output signal proportional to the calibrated operating range. All Z-Gard DS Sensors are available with 2 output versions, a 4-20mA analog output, or an addressable RS-485 digital signal. |
